Why choose Dove Actually?
We breed and train all of our doves in Surrey, housing them in a comfortable, clean environment. This keeps their feathers crisp and clean so that they look the part on your big day, flying straight back to their Banstead home after their release.
Thank you so so much for today. I’d kept it together for most of the day but the doves just blew me away. It was such a lovely touch and the way you handled my son was just amazing. Thank you and Chris so so much.
Choose Release Doves or Fantails
We’ll plan with you so that you select the right package for your needs. We keep and breed two types of doves to choose from, and you can opt for a combination of these or have individually.
Release Doves
These white doves can be released either by hand or directly from the heart shape basket we’ll place them in beforehand.
We train them weekly (if not daily) from venues throughout the South East, giving them strong homing instincts and ensuring we have experience working at local wedding venues near you.
Display Fantail Doves
Our beautiful fantail doves are not for release but can be kept in attractive display cages. They’re characterised by their large ornate fantails (thus the name) and look amazing when placed at the entrance of your venue for guests to admire as they arrive. They sit in individual cages due to their size, so you could have two sitting either side of your venue entrance or even at the altar if you have permission. We have a gallery of display cages so that you can select your favourite.
